"In meiner Malerei erforsche ich die Tiefen des menschlichen Daseins durch eine Kombination aus Abstraktion und Figuration. Meine Werke spiegeln komplexe innere Gefühle und psychologische Zustände wider, indem sie verzerrte Körperformen und Gesichter in dramatischen Kompositionen darstellen.

Ich arbeite mit verschiedenen Medien wie Acryl und Zeichenelementen, um die gestische Qualität und emotionale Tiefe meiner Werke hervorzuheben. Die ausdrucksstarken Pinselstriche und dynamischen Linien dienen dazu, die Intensität menschlicher Erfahrung visuell zu vermitteln.

Sara-Lena Möllenkamp (1987, Weingarten) studierte Literatur-, Kunst- und Medienwissenschaft (B.A. of Arts) sowie Neuere und Neuere deutsche Literatur (M.A. of Arts) an der Universität Konstanz. Ihre Arbeiten wurden u. a. im Paris Anim Centre Rachid Taha (Gruppenausstellung des Paris Collage Collective, Collage Rachid Taha, 2023) und im Lewisham Shopping Centre London (Gruppenausstellung Pro Create Project, Collage „Water me“, 2023) gezeigt.

2021 wurde sie Mitglied des Kollektivs M.A.R.S – Maternal Artistic Research Studio, mit dem sie 2021 das Atelierstipendium der Stadt Freiburg erhielt und im Frühjahr die Ausstellung „Mythen von Müttern und anderen Monstern“ im Kunsthaus L6 in Freiburg zeigte 2023. Im November 2023 zeigte sie im Rahmen der Regionale 24 erstmals eine fotogfrafische Arbeit mit dem Titel „The Gap“ in der Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst im E-Werk Freiburg.

"In my painting, I explore the depths of the human condition through a combination of abstraction and figuration. My works reflect complex inner feelings and psychological states by depicting distorted body shapes and faces in dramatic compositions.

I work with various media such as acrylic and drawing elements to emphasize the gestural quality and emotional depth of my works. The expressive brushstrokes and dynamic lines serve to visually communicate the intensity of human experience.
I combine surrealist and expressionist approaches in my art.

My figures, often in unusual poses, address identity, vulnerability and existence."

Sara-Lena Möllenkamp (1987, Weingarten) studied literature, art and media studies (B.A. of Arts) as well as modern and recent German literature (M.A. of Arts) at the University of Konstanz. Her works were shown in the Paris Anim Center Rachid Taha (group exhibition of the Paris Collage Collective, Collage Rachid Taha, 2023) and in the Lewisham Shopping Center London (group exhibition Pro Create Project, collage “Water me ”, 2023).

In 2021 she became a member of the collective M.A.R.S - Maternal Artistic Research Studio, with which she received the studio grant from the city of Freiburg in 2021 and showed the exhibition “Myths of Mothers and Other Monsters” at the Kunsthaus L6 in Freiburg in spring 2023. In November 2023, she showed a photographic work for the first time called “The Gap” at the Gallery for Contemporary Art in E-Werk Freiburg as part of Regionale 24.
